Locations and thoughts on the film part 1

There are these girls with yellow printed tops. Heart shaped rings and a small watch. Couples of dancers entertain the crowd. Some of Anish’s friends will be sitting at the bar and drinking. The girl will be sitting to the side of the bar. She is one of these Table tip women.

The girl will begin to interact with the crowds. She slowly talks about stories that have never happened to her. She is confused initially of these stories. The main character is sitting at the bar for quite sometime. The young man enters into the bar. He also talks to this girl and begins to believe these stories.

The lights in these bars give a nice velvety sort of feel to the whole ambience. The customers listen to the girl in the foreground and begin to believe these falsehoods. An Arab guy can be seen in the background of this film. The girl’s story can be overheard by the Arab people. But they are little too drunk to even care.

The locations are

Gulf Gate Hotel Bar

Manama back alleys

I feel like my body is left untouched. Like a thousand swords scathed and hurt my breaking soul.

I'm but one with my body not with myself either. I live as three asking my very thoughts to circumnavigate the visuals in my head. This man before me leaves scars on my musings. We are but here by chance. It is in voices of these alcohol drenched walls I find my solace.

I look over at the sun bathed trees for a glance. It is in these flittering moments I lend my eyes a pleasant sight. Little does he know about being watched? He walks briskly slicing through the air with his feet. He looks on to me with upbeat sense of hope. I watch out for the crossing.

He sits on a chair reading his book. Intently turning the pages and seeking out lines like plucking fruit. He is suddenly pulled into a trance: a vision of two trees stops his step and he turns around.

I run with the wind with a steady step not really trying to keep up with this man. Who is this man bringing pleasure to my fluttering heart but I don’t want to seek?

He looks at his watch and feels the dial for a bit. There is a sudden uncertainty in the movement of his head. People begin to pass him by slowly and steadily. He raises his feet to straighten out his body hoping for a slight gaze. He then looks straight at me. He stares knowingly nodding his head ever so slightly. I stray away from his gazing letting his eyes encroach my body. I slowly walk into my van feeling his gaze upon me. I let out a smile without even looking at him.
